Terrier Commitment

Safety and Service Commitment

Terrier Transportation, Inc. is committed to providing professional transportation services to our valued customers in a safe and compliant manner.

Before our drivers are even given a road test, they are screened on the PSP system; references, background checks, and drug and alcohol testing are conducted; and their knowledge of D.O.T. regulations is tested. Only after a driver meets these pre-qualifications are they ready for a road test.

Once a driver has met all of Terrier’s requirements, passed the road test, and been deemed qualified, they are then put through a comprehensive orientation program. Terrier’s orientation program familiarizes newly hired drivers with Terrier’s safety policies and procedures. As changes are made by the D.O.T. and other governing agencies, additional training is provided to all Terrier drivers.

To ensure that all drivers stay up-to-date on current safety regulations and procedures, quarterly safety meetings are held at all Terrier terminals.

Terrier’s strong customer service values and solid commitment to its customers are a part of our culture and are passed along to all of our drivers and employees.

Dispatcher-to-driver communications about customer cargo are shared with the highest sensitivity to ensure proper security, and that the integrity of the shipment is protected at all times. All of Terrier’s drivers are properly trained to adhere to all TSA, IAC, C-TPAT and CBP regulations.

Everyone at Terrier looks forward to earning your business and appreciates your continued support.
